Organic Production

ORGANIC PRODUCTION

WHAT IS IT?

Organic farming is regulated by EC Regulation 834/07, which defines the technical production rules; the products usable for defence, fertilisation, preparation and preservation of products; and the rules for labelling organic products.

Genetically modified organisms (GMOs) and products derived from GMOs are strictly excluded from organic farming methods.

HOW TO SPOT AN ORGANIC PRODUCT

The labels on organic products must include the following:

the EU organic production logo
the name of the authorised control body
the wording “Control body authorised by the MIPAAFT” with the certifying body’s code (e.g. IT BIO 009)
the code of the controlled company
e the origin of the raw materials (EU/non-EU)

Naturattiva believes in a philosophy of organic production, where respect for the environment and conscious production is combined with the great tasteand quality promise of italian ice cream.

Our products are plant based and made with organic ingredients, to minimize the exploitation of natural resources of our planet.

Since 2005 Naturattiva has been offering a range of plant-based, organic ice creams, to meet the growing demand for plant-based products respecting the local area and organic farming.

As the fruit of important skills and knowledge acquired over decades of experience in plant-based ice-cream production, Naturattiva wants to combine all of the flavour and goodness of Italian ice-cream tradition with modern production technology and selected organic ingredients.
